Pepsico is hiring an experienced Lead Engineer 2 – Prototype Development at their Hyderabad location. To be successful in this role, the incumbent must have strong passion for emerging technology with basic UI (front-end) and software (back-end) development experience.

What will you be doing:
- Apply User-Centered Design principles to prototype development
- Bring an idea/concept to life with User Experience design & software development experience
- Create/develop solution prototypes for Innovation initiatives across functional areas with strong focus in User Experience
- Ensure consistency of prototypes across IT Innovation team and ensure that these can be showcased to business or other executives.
- Partner with business unit leaders, external and internal technical resources to design / develop solution prototypes.
Qualifications for this Job:
- 2+ years developing web/mobile (iOS and Android) prototype apps
- 4+ years in a software development role including back-end and front-end (GUI) development experience
- Experience with user interface development from both low and high fidelity wireframes
- Figma, Adobe XD or other web/mobile apps prototyping tools
- HTML/CSS/JavaScript/AngularJS/Node.js/Python programming
- Software application development; API integration
- Ability to quickly learn new programming languages and technologies
- Mandatory Non-Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of process improvement
- Exceptional presentation skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Highly creative individual
- Familiar with agile development framework and design thinking
- Human Factors Engineering experience
- Interest in emerging technologies and how they might solve real business problems
- Able to abstract and interpret design intents and suggest creative ways to visualize designs rapidly; combine analytical problem solving with digital prototyping and making
